6 The Kvemng Sentinel. Carlisle, Tuesday, October 17, 1978 Area weddings Miss Lipton recent bride Wf Kathleen Lipton and Capt. Edward C. Schillo were united in marriage Oct. 7 at the home of the bride's parents.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving J. Lipton. 518 Mooreland and the late Catherine Lipton.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schillo, Colonial Park, are the bridegroom's parents. Chaplain Maury Hundley officiated at the ceremony. Organist was Mrs.

Marian Cherchuck. Mr. Lipton presented his daughter in marriage. Silk venise lace and seed pearl appliques embellished the bride's gown of poly knit. This was fashioned with a Queen Anne neckline, fitted sleeves with lace cuffs, empire waistline, a-line skirt and chapel train.

Her elbow-length veil and blusher fell from a lace Juliet cap. She carried a nosegay of white sweetheart roses and babies breath, with a gardenia center. Matron of honor was Margaret Lyng, Mechancisburg, and the bridesmaid was Kathleen Vance. Junior attendants were Holly and Heather Schillo, the bridegroom's daughters. Serving as best man for his father was Edward Schillo.

Groomsman was Capt. Frank Cavanaugh, and junior attendant was Robert Baiad, the bride's godson. The reception followed at the Officers Club, Carlisle Barracks. Arts and crafts shop director at Carlisle Barracks, the bride is a graduate of Trinity High School. She received her bachelor science degree in art education from Kutztown State College, and her masters degree in communications from Shippensburg.

The bridegroom was graduated from Central Dauphin High School and the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y., and received his masters of education degree in educational psychology from Texas He is chief of the human resources division at Carlisle Barracks. Linda Jean Brown and Terry L. Armolt were married by the Rev. Anothy Szilagyi Jr. Caroline Nolen was the organist. Mr.

and Mrs. Luther E. Barrick, 560 S. Hanover Carlisle, are the bride's parents. The bridegroom is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Samuel E. Armolt Sr RD3 Newville. Alencon lace enhanced the bride's gown of organza, which featured a sculptured neckline, bodice of lace and seed pearl, bishop sleeves, a-line skirt with pleated front panel, and chapel train. Lace bordered her cathedral-length mantilla.

She carried a cascade of ivory roses, white daisies, babies breath, and ivy. Pamela Kelley, Carlisle, was maid of honor. Flower girls were Karalee Brown, Huntsdale, the bride's cousin, and Christna Hall, Carlisle, the bridegroom's niece. Best man was Jon Gessinger, Hershey, and ushers were Lester Armolt, the bridegroom's brother, and Kelley Hall, the bridegroom's nephew. A wedding dinner was served at Bellaire House.

The bride is a 1978 graduate of Carlisle High School. A 1975 graduate of Big Spring High School, the bridegroom is a fire control teehncian, 2nd class, in the Navy stationed at Oceana, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Armolt are living at 908 E.

The bride's father, pastor of the Three Springs Church of the Brethren, Blain, performed the ceremony, assisted by Barbara Lynn Webster and Jonathan Ned Adams exchanged wedding vows in St. John's Episcopal Church. The Rev.

Canon William Weitzel performed the recent ceremony. Mrs. Harold Cobb as organist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Marlin P. Webster, Arch Street. Mr. and Mrs. Donald L.

Adams, RD4 Mechanicsburg, are the bridegroom's parents. Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a victorian-style gown of ivory silk organza. Cluny lace fashioned the wedding ring neckline, bodice bib with lace ruffle, long sleeves, and wide border of the princess line skirl and chapel train. Her matching picture hat featured a band of illusion around the crown ending in a back Imw and long veil She carried a bouquet of ivory sweetheart roses, babies breath and English ivy. Matron ol honor was Debra Carlisle, the bride's cousin; Mary Tyson, Carlisle, and Patricia Fisher, Middletown Dwain McLaughlin, Carlisle, was best man.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride's ensemble was an organza gown and matching sleeveless coat. Cluny lace fashioned the coat's border, wedding ring neckline, bodice yoke, cuffs of the long tapered sleeves, and trimmed the chapel train. A Camelot headpiece held her walking-length veil edged in lace. She carried a prayer book with yellow roses, white daisies, carnations, and tinted babies breath. Matron of honor was Janice Salsgiver, New Holland, the bride's sister.

Bridesmaids were Judy and Jody Hair, Carlisle, and junior bridesmaid was Kelly Kegarise. Manheim, the bride's niece. Flower girl and ring bearer were Kerry and Kevin Kegarise, Manheim, the bride's niece and nephew. Dale Hippenstell served as best man for his brother Ushers were Scott Brown, Middletown; Don Carr and Wayne McLaughlin, Carlisle. The reception followed in the church fellow ship hall.

The bride and bridegroom were graduated from Cumberland Valley High School, she is 1975 and he in 1974. She is an accounting clerk for Kinney Shoe Corporation, and he is a painter for Paul Mayberry, Mechanicsburg. STEPHEN WILLHIDE NEWPORT Wendy Jo Wise and Randy Lee Campbell were united in marriage Sept. 23. The bride's great-uncle, the Rev. Ira Brandt performed the ceremony in the Mt. Olivet Church of the Brethren.

Organist was Miss Ruth Kipp, and pianist Miss Judy Benson. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene P. Trout, RD1 Millerstown, and the late Thomas K.Wise.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Campbell, RD1 Landisburg, are the bridegroom's parents. Presented in marriage by her step-father, the bride wore a victorian-styled gown of satin crepe enhanced by a high neckline, long fitted sleeves and bodice of chantilly lace.

She wore her mother's elbow-length lace illusion veil, wilhhand-embroidered edging made by her great -aunt. A nosegay of white daisies, talisman roses and babies breath completed her bridal ensemble. Matron of honor was Kalhy I lower, Jacksonville, the bride's cousin. Bridesmaids were Gloria Barrick, Lancaster, the bride's cousin, and Mart esc ('louse, Orrtanna, the bridegroom's sister. Flower girls were the bridegroom's niece, Becky Campbell, Blain, and the bride's cousin, Lisa Davis, Mount Holly Springs.

Nathan Myers, Newport, was the best man. Ushers were Stephen Hower, Jacksonville, and David Klingensmith, Carlisle. Groomsmen were Vernon Campbell, the bridegroom's brolher, and Paul Trout, the bride's brother. Ring bearers were Christopher Campbell, the bridegroom's nephew, and Todd Wise, the bride's cousin. The reception followed at Greenwood High School cafeteria, Millerstown.

Guest book attendant was Mary Snyder, Landisburg, the bridegroom's foster sister. Program girls were Susan and Marsha Brandt, the bride's cousins. A 1975 graduate of Greenw ood High School, the bride is secretary to the Post Adjutant. U.S. Army Garrison, Headquarters, Carlisle Barracks.

The bridegroom is employed by Carlisle Exxon. He was graduated in 1975 from West Perry High School and the Cumberland Perry Vo Tech School. Mr. and Mrs. Campbell are living at RDI Landisburg.

The maid of honor was Patricia Warner, and bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Mrs. Bradley Keller, Cheryl and Debra Baughman. Richard Howell was the best man, and ushers were William Baughman.
