Reath, 86, of Piney Mountain Home, Fayetteville, formerly of Shippensburg, died Saturday in the home. Bora April 12, 1906, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Anna Rachiel Coy Perry.

She was the widow of Walker George Reath, who died in July, 1971. She was a retired seamstress, having worked for the former Netty Frocks and the former Penn Pants Factory, now the Grief Company, both of Shippensburg. She was a member of Prince Street United Brethren Church of Shippensburg, where she was a member of the Women's Bible Class and the Women's Missionary Society. Surviving are two daughters, Vivian Cramer of Vero Beach, and Dorothy Karper of Shippensburg; two sons, Donald R. of Fayetteville and Kenneth W.

of Cham bersburg; three sisters, Kathryn Handshew of Annville, and Edna Mowery and Elsie Shughart, both of Shippensburg; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and four sisters. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Prince Street United Brethren Church, 20 N. Prince Shippensburg, with the Revs.

Swanger, 100, of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, formerly of 14789 Cumberland Highway, Orrstown, died Saturday in the home. Born Nov. 5, 1892, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Whisler Leberknight. She was the widow of J. Floyd Swanger.

She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in various country schools in the Ship-pensburg area. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Newburg, where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and a former teacher of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class. She also was a member of Franklin County Society of Farm Women Group No. 3. She had attended Shippensburg University.

Swanger Surviving are one daughter, Mary Jane Stake of Orrstown; two brothers, Arthur K. Leberknight of Cresco and Gerald A. Leberknight of Fayet-teville; one sister, Erna L. Stepler of Chambersburg; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m.

14, 1899, in Berwyn, she was a daughter of the late Martin L. and Anna DeWalt Beistle. Her father was the founder of Beistle Co. of Shippensburg. She was the widow of Henry E.

Luhrs, who died Dec. 16, 1962. She was a graduate of the former Shippensburg Normal School, attended Temple University from 1922-1924, and received her bachelor's of science degree from Cornell University, New York, in 1926. She was a high school teacher of home economics in Greensburg in 1920-21, and in Mamaroneck, N.Y., in 1926-27. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg.

She was past director of the National Society, U.S. Daughters of 1812, American Association of University Women and Shippensburg Civic Club. She was past director and co- Richard E. He was a 1977 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Ann L. Bom June 22, 1933, in Johnstown, he was a son of the late William H. and Vera Wardsworths Motter. He was a war relics dealer and a retired employee of Behtlehem Steel Steelton. He was an U.S. Army and Marine veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of Melrose Gardens Grace Bible Church, Harrisburg. He also was a member of Conewago Rod and Gun Club of Elizabethtown and Central Pennsylvania Arms Assoc. He was a retired Cumberland County farmer and was a school bus driver for Big Spring Area School District for many years. He attended Green Springs Church of God, Newville. She was the widow of Dale E. Seitz, a former president of Farmer's Trust who died Dec. 29, 1987. She was a 1921 graduate of Blain Vocational School and a graduate of Mankato Commercial College, Minnesota. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, where she was a member of the Sunday school and Woman's Guild and was a Cradle Roll superintendent and a deacon.

She was a member of Carlisle Civic Club, Carlisle YWCA, Golden Age Club of Carlisle and AARP. She was a Red Cross volunteer. Surviving are one daughter, Iris S. Man charged A Hampden Township man was arrested on burglary and related charges Saturday morning after allegedly being discovered in My Place Pizza, 4400 block of Carlisle Pike, Hampden police report. Michael Cintron, 24, of the 6200 block of Carlisle Pike, Hampden, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and possessing instruments of crime, Hampden police report. About 3:30 a.m., a Hampden police officer observed an individual moving behind the counter in the restaurant, police report. Upon investigation, it was discovered the padlock had been removed from a door at the rear of the building.

The door was ajar and a hole had been broken through wooden steps giving access to the building, police report. The building was surrounded with assistance from Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg police, say police. Two Hampden police officers then entered the building and allegedly found Cintron hiding in a wooden trash bind inside the restaurant. A black duffle bag in the building tion, Harrisburg and Carlisle police used photos of people arrested for drug-related, violent robberies and also eyewitness accounts to indentify Proctor as one of the three suspects. Woman charged A Carlisle woman was charged with driving under the influence and leaving (he scene of an accident after she allegedly hit two parked cars on North Bedford Street early Thursday.

According to Carlisle police reports, Brenda Louise Rose, of the first block of Fairfield Street, hit two cars owned by Norman L. McDonald of the 600 block of North Hanover Street at about 2:30 a.m. One of McDonald's cars had to be towed. According to police reports, Rose fled from the scene and was stopped by police at West Louthcr and Cherry streets. Dead man was suspect Carlisle police say they have identified one of three men wanted in connection with a Carlisle shooting in which two Harrisburg men were injured last July.

Police say the suspect was Lacot-tis Proctor of Harrisburg, who was killed there during a drug-related shooting on Oct. 27. The Carlisle incident took place on the night of July 9 in the 100 block of North Pitt Street. According to police reports, three men held an 18-year-old man and a 21 -year-old man at gunpoint and robbed them their money and Nike sneakers. The suspects allegedly crossed the street and tried to rob two Harrisburg men at gunpoint.

One of the men attempted to grab the gun, and both men were shot. Both victims were treated at Carlisle Hospital and released.
