Reath, 86, of Piney Mountain Home, Fayetteville, formerly of Shippensburg, died Saturday in the home. Bora April 12, 1906, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late William Edward and Anna Rachiel Coy Perry.

She was the widow of Walker George Reath, who died in July, 1971. She was a retired seamstress, having worked for the former Netty Frocks and the former Penn Pants Factory, now the Grief Company, both of Shippensburg. She was a member of Prince Street United Brethren Church of Shippensburg, where she was a member of the Women's Bible Class and the Women's Missionary Society. Surviving are two daughters, Vivian Cramer of Vero Beach, and Dorothy Karper of Shippensburg; two sons, Donald R. of Fayetteville and Kenneth W.

of Cham bersburg; three sisters, Kathryn Handshew of Annville, and Edna Mowery and Elsie Shughart, both of Shippensburg; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and four sisters. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Prince Street United Brethren Church, 20 N. Prince Shippensburg, with the Revs.

Jaye M. Bartle and LeRoy W. Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

Swanger, 100, of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg, formerly of 14789 Cumberland Highway, Orrstown, died Saturday in the home. Born Nov. 5, 1892, in Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Whisler Leberknight. She was the widow of J. Floyd Swanger.

She was a retired elementary school teacher, having taught in various country schools in the Ship-pensburg area. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Newburg, where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Society and a former teacher of the King's Daughters Sunday School Class. She also was a member of Franklin County Society of Farm Women Group No. 3. She had attended Shippensburg University.

Swanger Surviving are one daughter, Mary Jane Stake of Orrstown; two brothers, Arthur K. Leberknight of Cresco and Gerald A. Leberknight of Fayet-teville; one sister, Erna L. Stepler of Chambersburg; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m.

Wednesday in Otterbein United Methodist Church, 15643 Paxton Run Road, Newburg, with the Rev. Earl F. Barrick officiating. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Lur-gan Township, Franklin County. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m.

She was a charter member of Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Shippensburg Public Libary, National Music Box Society, Kittochtinny Historical Society, Republican Women of Pennsylvania, Delta Sigma Epsilon Sorority, Order of Eastern Star, First Court Chapter No. 470, Chambersburg Garden Club and the Cornell Club. Surviving are one son, H. Ric of Shippensburg; one daughter, Helene D.A.

Luhrs of Ardmore; one sister, Dorothy Miller of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra L. Welker, who died Sept. 8, 1992. The Rev.

King Shippensburg 17257. Private services for Pearl B. Luhrs, 93, of 1270 Baltimore Road, Shippensburg, were held this morning in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Shippensburg. She died Friday in Chambersburg Hospital. Born Dec.

14, 1899, in Berwyn, she was a daughter of the late Martin L. and Anna DeWalt Beistle. Her father was the founder of Beistle Co. of Shippensburg. She was the widow of Henry E.

Luhrs, who died Dec. 16, 1962. She was a graduate of the former Shippensburg Normal School, attended Temple University from 1922-1924, and received her bachelor's of science degree from Cornell University, New York, in 1926. She was a high school teacher of home economics in Greensburg in 1920-21, and in Mamaroneck, N.Y., in 1926-27. She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church, Shippensburg.

She was past director of the National Society, U.S. Daughters of 1812, American Association of University Women and Shippensburg Civic Club. She was past director and co- Richard E. Glass Harry Schreiber Harry Henn' Schreiber, 80, of 477, Fraternal Order of Eagles and 275 Texaco Road, Silver Spring Ronald R. Motter Services for Richard E.

Glass, 34, of 1466 Woods Road, Shippensburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Oakville United Methodist Church, 519 Oakville Road, Shippensburg. He died Thursday in Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Born Aug.

22, 1958, in Chambersburg, he was a son of Martha Bow-ermaster Glass of Shippensburg and the late John W. Glass. He was employed by Fitzgerald Toyota, Chambersburg. He was a member of Oakville United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Cumberland Valley Hose Shippensburg.

He was a 1977 graduate of Shippensburg Area Senior High School. In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife, Ann L. Reese Glass; one son, Andrew at home; one daughter, Amanda at home; two brothers, Jerry L. and Bradley both of Shippensburg; two sisters, Linda L. Lynch of Carlisle and Brenda K.

Mangle of Shippensburg; his grandparents, Elmer G. and Nellie S. Bowermaster of Shippensburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. The Rev. Ray T.

Brinson will officiate. Burial will be in Cleversburg Cemetery, Southampton Township. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Township, died Saturday in Carlisle Hospital. Born Aug. 9, 1912 in Rife, Dauphin County, he was a son of the late Benjamin O. and Cora A. Umholtz Schreiber.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served as a private first class in the Rhine Land and Central He was the holder of the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two Bronze Stars. He was a retired employee of Frog Switch and Manufacturing Company, Carlisle, with more than 24 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post Ronald R. Motter, 59, of 27 Donald Middletown, died Saturday in Harrisburg Hospital.

Bom June 22, 1933, in Johnstown, he was a son of the late William H. and Vera Wardsworths Motter. He was a war relics dealer and a retired employee of Behtlehem Steel Steelton. He was an U.S. Army and Marine veteran of the Korean War.

He was a member of Melrose Gardens Grace Bible Church, Harrisburg. He also was a member of Conewago Rod and Gun Club of Elizabethtown and Central Pennsylvania Arms Assoc. Surviving are his wife Wanda J. Edwards Motter; one son Ronald at home; one daughter, Vicki at home; one brother, Bruce of Seattle, and four sisters, Carrol Adams of Carlisle, Shirley Colello of Steelton, Donna Palmer of Harrisburg, and Mary L. Shreffler of Lewisberry.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home, 260 E. Main Middletown, with the Rev. Stanley Sanger officiating. Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery.

Wire, 77, of Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, South Middleton Township, formerly of Dillsburg, died Saturday in the home.

Born March 17, 1915, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Jeannett Mills. She was the widow ofLloydB.WireSr. She was a retired employee of Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. She was a member of Barrens' United Lutheran Church of Dillsburg. Surviving are one son, Lloyd B.

Jr. of Mechanicsburg; one daughter, Patricia A. Miller of Dillsburg; two brothers, George Sultatos of Los Porter of Enola; one brother, Steven H. of DuBois; one sister, Lorreta Lee Kauffman of Camp Hill; two grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 1 a.m.

Null 61, of 39 Westfield Drive, Silver Spring Township, died Sunday in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg. Born Feb. 14, 1932, in West Fairview Township, he was a son of the late Clifford W.

Sr. and Helen Marshall Null. He was employed by AMP Harrisburg. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Snowmobile Association, Overview Anglers Association, and Perry Lodge No. 458 Enola.

Surviving are his companion, Nancy N. Keefer of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Melinda Sue Walborn of Mechanicsburg and Toni Elaine Services for James S. Eberly 94, of Cumberland County Nursing Home, Middlesex Township, formerly of Plainfield, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover Carlisle.

He died Friday in the nursing home. Born Sept. 5, 1898, at Mt. Rock, he was a son of the late Jacob and Martha Mohler Eberly. He was the widower of Daisy Wilson Eberly.

He was a retired Cumberland County farmer and was a school bus driver for Big Spring Area School District for many years. He attended Green Springs Church of God, Newville. Surviving are two daughters, Myrtle Klinger of Tempe, and Madalyn E. Stambaugh of Carlisle; two sons, Ralph L. of Plainfield and James S.

Jr. of Carlisle; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. The Rev. K. Hull Byers will officiate.

Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, West Pennsboro. Township. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cumber land County Nursing Home, 375 Claremont Drive, Carlisle 17013.

Born Oct. 5, 1908, in Berkley County, W. she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Orpha Frances Bowers Gray. She was the widow of Mervin Niswander.

She was a member of Mount Rock United Methodist Church, Carlisle. Born Sunday in Carlisle Hospital to: Roberta Pierce, Carlisle, boy. Madeline Martin Seitz, 92, of Thornwald Home, 442 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, formerly of Carlisle, died Saturday in Carlisle Hospital. Born Aug. 14, 1900, in Anderson-burg, Perry County, she was a daughter of the late William Henry and Eleanor Lynn Milligan Martin.

She was the widow of Dale E. Seitz, a former president of Farmer's Trust who died Dec. 29, 1987. She was a 1921 graduate of Blain Vocational School and a graduate of Mankato Commercial College, Minnesota. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, where she was a member of the Sunday school and Woman's Guild and was a Cradle Roll superintendent and a deacon.

She was a member of Carlisle Civic Club, Carlisle YWCA, Golden Age Club of Carlisle and AARP. She was a Red Cross volunteer. Surviving are one daughter, Iris S. Chaney of West Covina, four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard E.

Seitz, who died Feb. 13, 1989. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover Carlisle, with the Rev.

Man charged A Hampden Township man was arrested on burglary and related charges Saturday morning after allegedly being discovered in My Place Pizza, 4400 block of Carlisle Pike, Hampden police report. Michael Cintron, 24, of the 6200 block of Carlisle Pike, Hampden, was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft and possessing instruments of crime, Hampden police report. About 3:30 a.m., a Hampden police officer observed an individual moving behind the counter in the restaurant, police report. Upon investigation, it was discovered the padlock had been removed from a door at the rear of the building.

The door was ajar and a hole had been broken through wooden steps giving access to the building, police report. The building was surrounded with assistance from Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg police, say police. Two Hampden police officers then entered the building and allegedly found Cintron hiding in a wooden trash bind inside the restaurant. A black duffle bag in the building tion, Harrisburg and Carlisle police used photos of people arrested for drug-related, violent robberies and also eyewitness accounts to indentify Proctor as one of the three suspects. Woman charged A Carlisle woman was charged with driving under the influence and leaving (he scene of an accident after she allegedly hit two parked cars on North Bedford Street early Thursday.

According to Carlisle police reports, Brenda Louise Rose, of the first block of Fairfield Street, hit two cars owned by Norman L. McDonald of the 600 block of North Hanover Street at about 2:30 a.m. One of McDonald's cars had to be towed. According to police reports, Rose fled from the scene and was stopped by police at West Louthcr and Cherry streets. Dead man was suspect Carlisle police say they have identified one of three men wanted in connection with a Carlisle shooting in which two Harrisburg men were injured last July.

Police say the suspect was Lacot-tis Proctor of Harrisburg, who was killed there during a drug-related shooting on Oct. 27. The Carlisle incident took place on the night of July 9 in the 100 block of North Pitt Street. According to police reports, three men held an 18-year-old man and a 21 -year-old man at gunpoint and robbed them their money and Nike sneakers. The suspects allegedly crossed the street and tried to rob two Harrisburg men at gunpoint.

One of the men attempted to grab the gun, and both men were shot. Both victims were treated at Carlisle Hospital and released.
