The Sentinel Obituaries Local Wednesday, July 22, 2015 Eves Kronenberg Nace, of Carlisle, died on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg. She was born on March 18th in Carlisle, a daughter of the late Edward S. and Crystal (Eves) Kronenberg. Eves graduated from Carlisle High School and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Dickinson College, Carlisle. Eves had worked as a chemist i in Lancaster and also did biology re- love her search at Dickinson Col- mer lege, where she met the Episcopal James R.

Scott, 86, of Carlisle, died on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. He was the son of the late Malcolm J. Scott and Oella Liggett Scott. Born April 30, 1929 in Oxford, he graduated from Carlisle High School in 1946, Overbrook School for the Blind, and Ursinus College. He became the owner of C.M.

Liggett Insurance Agency after the death of his grandfather, C.M. Liggett. Although blind at a very young age, he never saw himself as being hand- icapped. He was very independent, and went on to become a successful businessman in insurance, real estate, and property in- vestment. Many people may have recognized him Sarah Elizabeth Runk, age 22, of Millerstown, formerly of Carlisle, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Fairview Township, PA.

She was born in Harrisburg on February 20, 1993 to Rebecca S. Hockenberry Runk of Mt. Holly Springs and Larry J. Runk, II of Millerstown. Sarah graduated from Big Spring High School and was employed at her father's business as the office manager of Bill's Mechanical Welding Co.

of Carlisle. She loved all types of animals, especially her dog, Cocoa. She is survived by her parents; a brother, Larry J. "Jimmy" Runk, III of Mt. Holly Springs; mater- Margaret Charlotte (Van Brakle) Senft, 91, of Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle, PA, formerly of York, PA, passed away on July 21, 2015 at her residence.

She was the wife of Francis A. Senft, to whom she had been married for 69 years. Born in York Co. on November 25, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Mary (Kissinger) VanBrakle of Long Branch, NJ. She was preceded in death by a brother, Reverend Jerome D.

Van Brakle. She is survived by a niece and nephew and grand -nieces and grandnephews. Margaret was a graduate of Eves Kronenberg Nace life. She was a formember of St. John Church, Carlisle.

James R. Scott in the community walking with one of his six loyal Seeing Eye dogs. He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Carlisle. He was also a lifetime member of B.P.O.E as well as several other social organizations. Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen I.

Hamilton and husband, Dean of Evans City; four grandchildren; Jessica McGuinness of Mars, David Hamilton of Renfrew, Hunter and Haley Scott of Carlisle and three greatgrandchildren, Bella and Silas Hamilton and Grady McGuinness. He is also survived by a sister, Jane Gil- Sarah Elizabeth Runk nal grandparents, Rodney and Darlene Hockenberry of Carlisle; paternal grandmother, Loretta F. Runk of Carlisle; and an aunt, Debbie (and her husband Mike) Rubert and their sons, Adam and Jared of Mt.

Holly Springs. She was preced- Margaret Charlotte Senft School, Class of 1941, and she completed Paralegal courses at Penn State York. She retired in 1985 from the position of Paralegal and Office Manager for the late Frank B. Boyle, Esquire, with whom she had worked for 25 years. Prior she was employed as a secretary in the Purchasing Department She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Jack E.
